Graduate Recruitment Programme

From University

Global Quantum encourages all trainees to become members of a Professional Body, usually the RICS and Inst.CES. To qualify as a member of the RICS you must first enrol as a Student member and then complete the APC [Assessment of Professional Competence]. This consists of 24 months of structured training, 96 hours of CPD [Continuing Professional Development] and a final assessment. Progress is closely monitored to ensure you are progressing successfully with the structured training. Global Quantum will give you a sufficient variety of work to assist in this and will help with problems when they arise.

Part-time Postgraduate Courses

Dependent upon your career path a postgraduate course may be appropriate. MSc courses are available at several Universities throughout the UK. Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Glasgow Caledonian University, Ulster University and University of Salford in Manchester, being amongst the most popular.

If you have an appropriate non-quantity surveying degree this can be used to gain entry to an MSc Quantity Surveying course. Successful completion of this course will give you an RICS approved degree. You can then complete your APC in the ‘From University’ section above.

Further Qualifications

Global Quantum encourage all employees continuing professional development and additional qualifications can be obtained. A common field of study is Construction Law. Robert Gordon University is one University where a Distance Learning course is available.

School Leaver Recruitment Programme

From School

All new trainees must attend University to study for a degree that is approved by professional bodies within the Construction Industry, generally the RICS.

Global Quantum will monitor your progress, help you with any specific areas of difficulty you have, and attempt to give you a wide variety of duties in order that you receive a good grounding for your future degrees.

Part time courses are available at Glasgow Caledonian University, Edinburgh Napier University, Ulster University, University of Salford in Manchester, Birmingham City University, UWE Bristol and various other Universities throughout the UK.
